Arizona Steelworks is a Phoenix Area custom steel fabrication company. Our fabricators are professional craftsmen with a desire to deliver only quality work. Our services range from simple gates to custom furniture.

Nate Yardley

Co-Owner

Nate has been in the construction industry most of his adult life including property maintenance and remodeling, concrete work, framing, painting, etc. With a high attention to detail and a perfectionist attitude, he excels at anything he puts his mind to. Fabrication is his preferred line of work and has been doing it for over 15 years here in the valley.

When not welding or installing gates, Nate likes spending time with his wife and three sons or doing remodeling projects on his own home.

Co-Owner

Shortly after graduating from ASU, Sam got her real estate license and entered into the property management industry. After a couple years of using her license, she found her true interests actually lie in the construction industry. This makes sense given that it runs in the family- her father owned a construction company, her brother runs a construction company and her grandfather built their family cabin by hand in northern Arizona.

When not working, Sam enjoys getting out of town with her husband, daughter and two Great Pyrenees dogs and going four wheeling, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing.

Should I use a licensed contractor?

Using a licensed contractor means you are working with a company that is insured and will guarantee the project gets completed even if issues arise. We focus on the quality of our work and care about upholding our reputation.

What kind of slat options are there for gates?

We can install a composite slat or a wooden slat. Although wooden slats offer specific look, they require routine upkeep to delay the natural decomposition process. Even with repainting and repairing, wooden slats may only last a few years in the Arizona sun. Composite slats require no maintenance other than the occasional wash downs with water. Composite slats do only come in a few colors, where wood slats can be painted or stained any color you wish.

Are the gates custom built to order?

All our gates are custom built which means you get a stronger, higher quality gate compared to larger companies that mass produce the same product. You also have the option to alter specific details or add certain customizations.

How long does it take from order to install?

Depending on the size and style of the gate, our turnaround time is 1-3 weeks.

Is there a warranty?

We offer a 1 year warranty on our craftsmanship. Additional warranties on the slats are available through the manufacturer as well.
